Diversity and inclusion
Everyone is welcome.
Celebrating our differences
We’re passionate about diversity and inclusion. We firmly believe that people with diverse backgrounds, lifestyles and ways of thinking lead to a more creative successful and fun workplace.
We actively encourage stronger relationships between our employees, creating a workplace that supports equality and encourages employee well-being, success and enthusiasm. Having increased our diversity and inclusion activities with amazing results, we hope to show other organisations how it’s done.
The Equality Network
We’re not a gender-based group.
We’re an equality network focused on the positive change we can make if we remove the challenges faced by people of different genders.
Through social events, big debates, honest conversations and shared experiences we want to tackle taboos, challenge stereotypes, highlight unconscious bias and get the issue of gender inequality on everybody’s radar.
Rainbow Alliance
The ANS Pride group stands for all LGBTQ+ members and their allies.
We’re here to support each other, promote equality and have fun along the way. We help support LGBTQ+ charities such as our partner charity The Proud Trust, by extending our services to them and fundraising. From cinema nights, pride parades and parties to external awareness talks, education and promoting workplace equality, we’re a proud bunch!
The ABLE group
The ABLE (Association for Better Living and Education) group has been formed to ensure that ANS is a place accessible to all, regardless of physical or mental abilities.
Our aim is to ensure everyone has the same opportunities to be able to thrive within the workplace and to improve the perception of people with disabilities within the workplace. We will achieve this through a process of education, awareness and structured policy, along with a bit of ANS fun and silliness along the way.
Diversity and Beyond
We are a community centred around raising awareness, educating teams and above all aiming to reduce the racial diversity gap in society.
We work with the business to build a recruitment strategy that works for people of all backgrounds and endeavour to implement processes and practices to make existing ethnic minority employees feel included and represented.
We also work to increase engagement with the local community through fundraisers and events!

Women in Tech
We think it’s about time the number of women working in tech increased, so we’re on a mission break down the gender stereotypes that often surround the technology industry. Find out more about how we’re inspiring more women to consider a career in technology.
Your mental wellbeing
We are all living in difficult times and we all know how important it is to look after each other. It’s something we all do so well at ANS.
Thirteen members of the ANS team are qualified as Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAs), accredited by MHFA England, and are here to support you should you ever need them – even in the evening or at weekends.
If you need a qualified listening ear, you can use our dedicated email box to reach out to all of our Mental Health First Aiders or you can contact any of them individually via Teams or email. Our trained MHFAs are also happy to be contacted on their personal mobile numbers too if you’re more comfortable dropping them a text.
