At ANS we are committed to creating and supporting a better, brighter, and more sustainable future for our community. It’s in our DNA.

That’s why we’re on a mission to:

Support our community

Support, invest and give back to our community, making a real measurable difference to people’s lives.

Provide opportunities

Provide our employees with opportunities to make a difference/ impact to causes they are passion about.

Work together

Work together as a team across ANS to Make A Difference Each Day.

How do we do it?

Through our very own Charity Team, MADE (Make A Difference Each Day), who are never short of fundraising ideas and volunteering opportunities that keep us busy throughout the year!

I’m a huge advocate of giving up your time to help others, whether that be volunteering time with our partner charities, raising funds in the craziest way, or running our own initiatives. I love that ANS gives us that opportunity at every chance we get.

Manchester Youth Zone

Manchester Youth Zone provides a unique safe place for young people aged from 6 – 19, up to 25 with additional needs, from across Manchester and ANS have been founding patrons of MYZ since 2019. MYZ currently welcomes almost 1,000 young people each week and they work to raise the kids’ aspirations and equip them with the tools to increase their confidence, build positive relationships and add something back to their own community.
MYZ is based in Harpurhey, one of the most deprived areas in the country. We continue to support them year after year and every time we are truly inspired by the work they do to ensure the vulnerable young people of Manchester get the childhood they deserve.

HideOut Youth Zone (HOYZ)

Similar to the MYZ, HideOut Youth Zone is a safe place for more young people to go in Manchester.
The young people’s development group, which is made up of young people from across East Manchester, started the process by defining what Manchester meant to them. Diverse, friendly, unique, together and confident, were values which young people felt reflected Manchester and are what the youth zone will be built on.

Royal Manchester’s Children Hospital

The charity’s aim is to support excellence in the treatment, research, and care that they provide to young patients, now and always. They aim to make a real difference to the children and young people in care by ensuring they continue to receive the highest quality treatment in the highest quality facilities.
RMCH hold a special place in our heart, we have been supporting such an amazing cause since 2013 and are proud to share they we have raised nearly £200k for the charity during that time.

Trussell Trust Food Bank

Trussell Trust support a nationwide network of food banks and together, they provide emergency food and support to people locked in poverty, and campaign for change to end the need for foodbanks in the UK.
At ANS, we support the food bank by providing food drivers throughout the year, pay it forward Christmas schemes, Christmas dinner donations, volunteering and more!

The Pankhurst Trust

We have partnered recently with The Pankhurst Trust, an organisation that comprises of both Manchester Women’s Aid Charity and The Pankhurst Centre, to support that amazing work they do.
We’re excited to begin volunteering and doing more work with the charity going forward.
