ANS shortlisted for Northern gender diversity award
Leading digital transformation specialist ANS Group has been shortlisted in the Northern Power Women Awards 2022. ANS was recognised as an organisation committed to building a culture of value through gender diversity.
The Northern Power Women Awards celebrate the forward-thinking individuals and organisations who strive to create greater gender balance within their communities. The awards, which now constitute the largest event celebrating gender equality in Europe, showcase and spotlight trailblazing role models from across the North.
The awards celebrate the women and men working towards creating gender balance in organisations and businesses across the entire Northern Powerhouse. Winners are profiled and their stories shared to encourage other individuals and businesses to step up and take action. The awards also feature a Power list and a Future list, which showcase current and future changemakers, leaders and influencers.
Simone Roche MBE, founder and CEO of Northern Power Women, spoke of this years’ shortlist:
“Now entering the sixth year of the Northern Power Women Awards, I have once again been wowed by the high calibre of nominations we received this year. With over 1,400 nominations received, our panel of nearly 70 judges certainly had a challenge identifying who should make the shortlist this year.
Among the 83 shortlisted nominees are fantastic trailblazers and advocates from the North, representing a range of industries and professions. Each of these individuals and organisations highlight just how varied the definition of success can be, as well as demonstrating that each of us has the power to make real change.
This years’ shortlist serves as a rolodex of role models, able to inspire both current and future generations to use their power for good and advance gender equality together.”
Speaking of ANS’ nomination, ANS CEO, Paul Shannon added: “This recognition is a testament to the hard work the ANS team dedicates to our Women in Tech campaign. Every person plays a part in making ANS a safe and inclusive place for everyone and I’m proud to work at an organisation leading the way in gender diversity initiatives.”
The winners of the Northern Power Women Awards will be announced on the 21st of March 2022 at a gala awards night and dinner at the Manchester Central Convention Complex.
